22 September 2012 - IMU Chariofare’12 Carnival The main goal of Chariofare is to raise funds for charity . The money collected will distribute to Love care Kajang , Precious children home , Rumah Shalom , Hope worldwide Kuala Lumpur and Yayasan sunbeans home . Thus , improve the quality of their life and make sure that they can lives better and more comfortable . There are a lot of activities such as competition among the booth , lucky draw and charity run were carried out during that day . Prizes are given to the booth based on cleanliness , design and amount of funds collected . Many booths were setting up and participated in the competition . Most of the booth were selling food and beverages whereas some of them were selling books and toys . My friend and I were act as a helper in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry’s booth . We were divided into four groups , two group in the morning section while another two groups in the afternoon section . One group were responsible in food preparing whereas another group responsible in selling foods and DIY products . At the end of the event , PC department collected total of RM1835 from selling the foods , beverages and recycled crafts products .

15 September 2012 - Distribution of 3R bookmark in Port Dickson We went back to Port Dickson after one week . Unfortunately , we still observed that people throw rubbish along the beach . Therefore , we decided to distribute 3R bookmarks to the public in order to increase awareness among the public . The aims of distribution of 3R bookmark are increase public awareness toward importance of keeping environment clean and encourage people to appreciate nature and keep it in its . We had prepared a total of ten bookmarks and distribute them to the public . Before distribute the bookmarks , we had told the public about the importance of 3R in our daily life and the effect if we do not save our environment . Hopefully , the public can practice 3R lifestyle in their daily life . Let us work together to save our mother earth .

9 September 2012 - Rubbish collection in Port Dickson There are a lot of activities such as picnic and camping are carry out by the public at the beach every day . Most of them leave the rubbish behind . Majority of the rubbish are non-biodegradable materials such as plastic and polystyrene . Some of them are toxic to the environment . This rubbish cause a lot of drawback to the environment such as pollution , damage the habitats of marine lives and disturb the ecosystem . Hence , my group members had organized a rubbish collection in Port Dickson . The purposes of rubbish collection are keeping our environment clean , increase awareness toward importance of keeping environment clean and maximize the recyclability at our daily waste . We spent five hours in Port Dickson to collect the rubbishes along the beach . The rubbish that we had collected include plastic bags , aluminum tin , polystyrene food and drink containers , newspaper and others . Most of them are leave by the public . Then , we divided the rubbishes into several categories such as glass , aluminum tin , paper and non-recycled materials . Finally , we discarded the non-recycled rubbish into dustbin that provided along the beach . As a part of the environment , we have responsibility to keep our environment free of rubbish . Throwing the rubbish anywhere even a small portion can cause a lot of drawback to our environment . Finally , we will suffer from variety diseases due to unhealthy environment .

Key chains made from newspapers and coloured by water colour . 1.Fold the newspapers into the size you prefer . 2.Coil the newspaper into the shape u like . 3.Finally stick it together . (eg : flower shape and butterfly shape )

Key chains made from bottle cap . 1 . Collect the bottle cap you like . 2 . Made a hole on the bottle cap . 3 . You can decorate the bottle cap too .

Key chains made from lighters . 1. Collect two lighters . 2. The top part of lighter is needed . 3. Joined both of the top part into the shape of motorbike . 4. Decorate it . ( eg: add side mirror and speed meter )

Key chains made from aluminum cans . 1 . Collect aluminium cans . 2 . Cut the shape of guitars . 3 . Place a hardboard between it . 4 . Finally stick it together . Key chains made from tin can rings 1 . Collect the rings . 2 . Join the ring together by thread . 3 . Add a leaf behind .
